Your donation provides Edmonton homeless with shelter, food, access to programs and more!
Urban Manor is a charitable Edmonton organization that can issue tax receipts for donations.
Each time you donate, we can provide a tax receipt from our non profit organization that you can write off on your taxes. Doing good never felt so good!
UMHS (Urban Manor Housing Society) provides housing for people for whom there are very limited options available. Our program houses vulnerable men who struggle with addictions and mental health, often referred to us by other institutions, who would otherwise be homeless.

Where does your donation to Urban Manor Housing Society go?
Each donation goes towards helping our programs. You are directly helping to get vulnerable homeless off the street and provide a sense of community, and worth.
There are so many ways you can give, and help our residents.
- For every $150 you donate, we can provide three hot and healthy meals to a resident for a month.
- For every $18 you donate, we can purchase 6 pairs of warm socks or 6 pairs of thermal underwear.
- For every $20 you donate we can provide a single resident with the essential shower and personal hygiene items for 2 months.
- For every $100 donation, we can schedule group outings for 5 our residents at the Zoo, Fort Edmonton or Candy Cane Lane.
- For every $550 you donate, we can purchase a brand new mattress and new linen and blankets for our residents.
Fundraise for Urban Manor Housing Society
You can host your own event to raise funds for Edmonton’s homeless community. Everything that you do helps give our residents the power to rise up out of poverty.
Run your own clothing drive, or collect bottles, or host an event that benefits Urban Manor. Your efforts to help raise money, help us execute our programs and makes a huge difference in our community.
